This was the feedhorn on the Parkes Radio Telescope that received the first TV signals from the Apollo 11 mission on the Moon. The TV pictures showed Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin walking on the Moon. From Parkes, the pictures were relayed around the world. The feedhorn is now on display at the Sydney Observatory.
