On the second day we traveled up to the nearby touristy town of Kuranda. We took the Kuranda Scenic Railway on up for a view of the rainforest from the ground and then the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway for a view from above the trees. At Kuranda we visited the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary, Kuranda Koala Gardens, and Birdworld Kuranda. Click the green arrow at the bottom right of the picture to play the slides.
