One of rooms in the estate. I think this is the "Viewing Porch for Looking at Pines and Studying Paintings" (let me know the proper identification!). If so, then here's the plaque info:

Pavilion for Enjoying a Pine Picture

This pavilion is a place for viewing a winter scene. In its southern courtyard, there is an ancient cypress that legend says is descended from wanjuantang (Library with ten thousand book collection). This is the oldest tree in the courtyard. Although the treetop is withered and the central trunk is loped, it still has a very green and verdant look to it. In addition, there are also arhat-like, black-and-white skinned pines in the courtyard that are all hundreds of years old. All trees fade in a severe winter but the pines are still full of life. Only in winter can one realize the charm of the pines. If you enjoy the picture, you will have truly appreciated the pine's attraction.
