Terra Cotta Museum
The "Eighth Wonder of the World", the terra-cotta warriors outside of Xi'an was #2 (after the Great Wall) on our list of things to see in China. The commentaries that go with the larger versions of these thumbnails provide some history behind the warriors. I used the official book from the museum as well as notes I took from a lecture given to us by the director of the museum the morning of our visit (July 19, 2009) to create the commentaries.
