Forming hoodoos

Hoodoos that formed from collapsed roofs of windows in fins along Queen's Garden Trail trailhead at Bryce Canyon in June 2008. A labeled picture highlights some of the vertical cracks that will enlarge over time to further separate the hoodoos from each other. The labeled picture also shows the locations of two former window roofs and a possible third window roof. This image is 42% size of the original.
