Looking over southeastern Yellowstone

Just south of Dunraven Pass on the northern loop road looking southeast (scroll right to view the entire panorama!). The northern edge of the caldera is visible. The roadside sign shows where the caldera boundary runs. The day was clear enough that the Tetons over 30 miles away could be seen. Alternate image without roadside sign. Image taken mid-June 2008. This image is 44% size of original.
