Lower Falls Yellowstone

The Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River as seen from the end of Uncle Tom's Trail. The trail is extremely steep but what a view at the bottome! The Lower Falls is 308 feet (93 meters) tall and an average of 37,417 gallons (141,809 liters) every second roars down the cliff. If you look carefully, you can see tiny people on the other side of the river at the top of the falls (at the end of the Brink of Lower Falls Trail). Image taken mid-June 2008. This image is 42% size of original.
