Sapling Learning First Login Instructions
The student access code that can be used only once. Each code is valid for ONE student registration. Website: www.saplinglearning.com. It is possible to purchase access online at their website.
- a. If you have a Facebook account, you can use it to quickly create a Sapling Learning account. Click “Create an Account”, then “Create my account through Facebook.” You will be prompted to log into Facebook if you aren’t already. Choose a username and password, then click “Link Account”. You can then skip to step 2.
b. Otherwise, click “Create an Account.” Supply the requested information and click “Create My Account.” Check your email (and spam filter) for a message from Sapling Learning and click on the link provided in that email.
- Expand the categories under the ‘Enroll in a New Course’ heading to find your course and click the link. The term relates to the order of the courses. Look for “Bakersfield College - ASTR B1 - <semester> - STROBEL” in the drop-down list, where <semester> is the current semester. (Careful! Don’t choose the ASTR B3 class!)
- Your course requires payment; select a payment option and follow the remaining instructions. Then you'll be enrolled in the class! (There is a "grace period" (Links to an external site.) of free access at the beginning of the semester for those waiting on financial aid.)
- Work on the Sapling Learning training materials. The activities, videos, and information pages will familiarize you with the Sapling Learning user environment and serve as tutorials for answering questions within Sapling Learning. These training materials are already accessible in your Sapling Learning course.
- Select the appropriate assignment
Once you have registered and enrolled, you can log in at any time to complete or review your homework assignments. During sign up or throughout the term, if you have any technical problems or grading issues, send an email to support@saplinglearning.com explaining the issue. The Sapling Learning student support team is almost always faster and better able to resolve issues than your instructor.
